Crutchfield tapped as 1st CEO of Innovate Alabama

Cynthia Crutchfield is the first CEO of Innovate Alabama. The Montgomery native takes the job Dec. 1. Her mission is to improve access to capital and resources for startups. She will oversee the organization’s overall strategy and operations, advocate for policy solutions and engage with the state’s innovation entrepreneurs. She is a graduate of Alabama A&M and a real estate investment business owner in Huntsville, Alabama, before she was COO of Huntsville’s The Crutchfields Company, a real-estate investment business. She says she is honored to lead the organization as we work to foster an innovation ecosystem to compete in the 21st century economy.
