Tom Hanks and Robin Wright, the stars of the beloved 1994 classic Forrest Gump, are reuniting with director Robert Zemeckis after 30 years for a new movie. Titled “Here,” this project will feature an innovative technique known as “de-aging” to make both actors appear much younger than they currently are.
This technology has become increasingly popular in recent years, allowing filmmakers to create realistic scenes featuring characters of any age without having to hire multiple actors or use makeup effects. It is being used by major Hollywood productions like The Irishman and Gemini Man; however, Here will be one of the first films that use de-aging on two main leads at once.
The plot details for Here have been kept under wraps so far; all we know is that it’s set in modern times and revolves around a father who goes looking for his daughter after she mysteriously disappears from their small town home. With Tom Hanks and Robin Wright playing lead roles alongside each other again after three decades apart – only this time digitally de-aged – fans can expect another great performance from these two legendary actors when Here hits theaters next year!
