Nvidia RTX 50-Series GPUs: DLSS 4 and Multi Frame Generation Coming January 30th

Nvidia Unveils RTX 50-Series GPUs, DLSS 4 Technology

Nvidia is set to launch its highly anticipated RTX 50-series GPUs, with the flagship RTX 5090 and RTX 5080 models hitting the market on January 30th. The company has also announced that the RTX 5070 Ti and RTX 5070 will follow suit with a February release.

Early adopters are already experiencing the benefits of DLSS 4, Nvidia’s latest software enhancement, even before the new hardware arrives. This technology is generating significant buzz in the gaming community.

In a recent review, Tom Warren from The Verge examined the RTX 5090, which comes with a hefty price tag of $1,999. While Warren noted the GPU’s impressive power, he observed that it doesn’t represent a substantial leap over its predecessor, the RTX 4090.

Sean Hollister, also from The Verge, tested the RTX 5090 Founders Edition in a small-form-factor PC setup. Hollister expressed enthusiasm about the GPU’s performance in this compact environment.

One of the most notable features of the new series is DLSS 4, which introduces Multi Frame Generation. This AI-powered technology generates additional frames, allowing games to run at higher resolutions with less impact on framerates. Early testers using DLSS 4 with existing RTX 40-series GPUs in games like Cyberpunk 2077 have reported significant performance improvements.

As the launch date approaches, The Verge has committed to providing ongoing coverage of Nvidia’s RTX 50-series GPUs, ensuring consumers stay informed about these cutting-edge graphics cards and their real-world performance.
