The goal of this proposed research lab is not only for it to rival OpenAI but also to compete against other large companies, such as Google or Microsoft, in developing AI technology that can understand human language better than ever before. It will focus on creating algorithms that are more efficient while still being able to recognize nuances in conversations between humans and machines. Additionally, Musk hopes that his team will be able to develop models that have ethical considerations built into them so they do not make decisions based on bias or prejudice as well as provide transparency about how these decisions were made by the machine learning system used by the chatbot.
