Jackery Unveils Innovative Energy Solutions at CES 2025
Portable power giant Jackery has made waves at CES 2025 with the introduction of a range of new energy products, signaling a significant expansion of their product line. The company’s latest offerings include Solar Roof tiles, a mid-sized solar generator, and a high-powered charger for larger vehicles.
The new Solar Roof tiles represent Jackery’s foray into the residential solar market. Available in obsidian or terra-cotta red, these curved tiles are designed to mimic traditional clay-tiled roofs while boasting an impressive cell conversion efficiency of over 25%. The company claims the tiles are highly durable and capable of withstanding hail, high winds, and extreme temperatures. Jackery is backing these claims with a 30-year warranty.
Complementing the Solar Roof tiles is the HomePower Energy System (ES), a powerful energy storage solution that requires professional installation. The system can produce up to 11.4kW of power, handling both 120V and 240V loads. With a maximum storage capacity of 123.2kWh using LFP batteries, the HomePower ES can reportedly provide power for over four days during a blackout.
For those seeking a more portable solution, Jackery has introduced the Explorer 3000 v2 Solar Generator. Positioned below the company’s 5000 Plus model, this mid-sized generator offers 3kWh of LFP storage and 3600W sustained output. It features an instantaneous 0ms UPS cutover time and can be recharged via solar panels, AC wall jack, or car socket.
Rounding out Jackery’s new offerings is their first alternator charger, a DC-to-DC car charger providing up to 600W of charging power. This device promises faster charging compared to standard 12V car sockets and requires installation by connecting to the vehicle’s battery.
While these new products demonstrate Jackery’s commitment to innovation in the energy sector, the company has yet to release details on pricing and availability. As the portable power market continues to evolve, it remains to be seen how Jackery’s latest offerings will stack up against competitors like Bluetti, EcoFlow, and DJI.
