Eufy Unveils Advanced 4K Indoor Cam E30 with Enhanced Features
Eufy, a leading smart home technology company, has announced the launch of its latest indoor security camera, the Indoor Cam E30. This new model, priced at $69.99, represents a significant upgrade from its 2020 predecessor, boasting 4K video capabilities and a built-in spotlight for color night vision.
The Indoor Cam E30 offers impressive rotational capabilities, with a 360-degree horizontal range and 75-degree vertical tilt. Equipped with on-device AI, the camera can detect humans and pets, while also featuring audio recognition for alerts such as infant crying. The device’s automatic motion tracking ensures subjects remain in the frame, with manual control available exclusively through the Eufy mobile app.
In terms of compatibility, the E30 supports both HomeKit and HomeKit Secure Video. However, users should note that an iCloud Plus subscription is required, and streaming through these platforms is limited to 1080P. For those preferring local storage, the camera includes a microSD card slot and can stream 4K footage directly to the Eufy app.
Additional storage options are available through the Eufy HomeBase S380, which is expandable up to 16TB. The company assures that privacy concerns raised in 2022 have been addressed and resolved.
The E30 also features two-way audio for remote communication. Its night vision capabilities are enhanced by a spotlight for color viewing up to 16.4 feet, while infrared lights extend black-and-white night vision beyond 32 feet.
This latest offering from Eufy demonstrates the company’s commitment to advancing home security technology, providing users with a feature-rich, high-resolution indoor camera option at a competitive price point.
