Logitech MX Creative Console Update Boosts Compatibility with Adobe, Figma, and Final Cut Pro

Logitech Expands MX Creative Console Compatibility with Major Software Update

Logitech has unveiled a significant software update for its MX Creative Console, broadening the device’s compatibility and enhancing its functionality across multiple creative applications. The update, now available for download in the Logi Marketplace, introduces new plugins for Adobe Lightroom and Figma, while also improving support for Final Cut Pro.

The Adobe Lightroom plugin, developed in collaboration with Adobe, allows users to utilize the console’s large dial controller for image straightening tasks. Additionally, the plugin offers customizable LCD buttons for frequently used functions such as rating and flagging images.

For Figma users, the new plugin leverages the console’s keypad to streamline tasks like text alignment and spacing adjustments. The dial can now be used to modify text size and weight, further enhancing the design workflow.

Initially shipped with plugins for Adobe’s Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, After Effects, and Lightroom Classic, the MX Creative Console now extends its support to cloud-based Adobe Lightroom, DaVinci Resolve, Figma, and Affinity Photo, a popular Photoshop alternative.

The creative community has responded positively to these updates, citing improved workflow efficiency and productivity. Logitech aims to broaden the console’s appeal to a wider range of creative professionals with these new plugins and expanded compatibility.

Launched at a price point of $199.99, the MX Creative Console entered the market over a year after Logitech’s acquisition of Loupedeck, a competitor in the customizable control panel space for streamers and creatives.

This software update marks a significant step in Logitech’s efforts to enhance the versatility and utility of the MX Creative Console, solidifying its position in the competitive creative hardware market.
