Meta, the parent company of Facebook, recently found itself in hot water after its algorithm mistakenly flagged 21 posts from the Auschwitz Museum as violating community standards. The Poland-based memorial, known for its solemn tribute to the victims of the Holocaust, was shocked to discover that its posts were being treated as if they contained inappropriate content.
In response to the erroneous flags, Meta issued an apology, albeit not directly, admitting that the content in question did not actually violate any policies and was never demoted.
