TechTown Detroit, a business incubator and accelerator located in the heart of Detroit, recently announced the appointment of new board members. These individuals bring executive leadership skills, educational expertise and small business acumen to the organization.
The newly appointed board members have been given an important task: they will be responsible for helping TechTown implement its three-year strategic plan that was created last fall. This plan includes initiatives such as expanding its programming offerings to better serve entrepreneurs from all backgrounds; increasing access to capital for businesses; and creating more job opportunities in Detroit’s tech sector.
The goal is clear: by leveraging their collective experience, these new board members can help TechTown become a leader in driving economic development within the city of Detroit through innovation and entrepreneurship. With this team now on board, it’s only a matter of time before we start seeing positive results from this initiative – something that could benefit not just those living or working inside Techtown but also people throughout greater metro area who are looking for ways to build successful careers within technology fields.
