Peacock’s Multiview Feature Revolutionizes Election Night Coverage with Real-Time Results and Kornacki Cam

Peacock Expands Multiview Feature for Election Night Coverage

Peacock, NBCUniversal’s streaming service, is set to revolutionize election night viewing with an expansion of its Multiview feature. Originally designed for sports events, this innovative technology will now allow viewers to track multiple live streams simultaneously during the upcoming election coverage.

Starting November 5th at 6 PM ET, Peacock will offer three different livestreams for election night. Viewers can access the NBC News Now stream featuring anchors Lester Holt and Savannah Guthrie, a dedicated “Kornacki Cam” for real-time analysis by correspondent Steve Kornacki, and a map displaying up-to-the-minute election results from across the country.

The Multiview functionality enables users to switch between different screens, toggle audio on or off for specific streams, and expand any live stream to full-screen mode. This feature will be available on smart TVs, web browsers, and tablets, providing a versatile viewing experience for audiences across various platforms.

In preparation for the election coverage, Peacock will launch a dedicated election-related content hub on November 1st, offering viewers comprehensive information and analysis leading up to the big night.

Looking ahead, Peacock plans to further expand its Multiview capabilities. On December 4th, the feature will be introduced for Premier League matches, allowing soccer fans to watch up to four games simultaneously.

This expansion of Multiview technology demonstrates Peacock’s commitment to enhancing viewer engagement and providing innovative solutions for content consumption across different genres.
