Mapping a network drive on Windows 11 is an easy way to access folders from another PC on your network. To get started, open File Explorer by clicking the folder icon in the taskbar. Then select “This PC” and click “Map Network Drive” at the top of the window. You will then be prompted to choose a drive letter for your new connection and enter either a computer name or IP address of where you want to map it from. Once done, click finish and you should now see that mapped network drive listed under This PC in File Explorer with its designated letter, such as Z:\
If needed, check off Reconnect at login so that this mapping will remain after rebooting your machine or logging out/in again later. If desired, also check off Connect using different credentials if you need to use different account information than what is currently logged into Windows 11 for accessing this folder on another computer over the network connection. Finally, press OK when finished setting these options up before attempting any further actions with this newly mapped location within File Explorer like copying files over or opening documents stored there, etc.
