Apple Set to Refresh MacBook Air Line with M4 Chips
Apple is gearing up for a significant update to its MacBook Air lineup, with new models featuring M4 chips expected to launch in March. This move will mark the completion of the MacBook line’s transition to the latest M4 chip technology.
Industry insiders report that Apple has begun preparing its marketing, sales, and retail teams for the upcoming launch. In anticipation of the new models, the tech giant is actively clearing out retail stock of current MacBook Air versions.
The refresh is expected to include both 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Air models, which are likely to be released simultaneously. Historically, MacBook Air specifications have closely mirrored those of the low-end MacBook Pro, suggesting similar performance upgrades for the new Air models.

However, industry analysts predict that the Mac Studio will receive its M4 update between March and June, while the Mac Pro’s transition to M4 technology is expected sometime between June and fall.
