Windows Copilot UI Tests on Pause: Microsoft Hits the Snooze Button

In the current setup, users can access Copilot through its icon, which has been relocated from the center to the lower right-hand corner of the screen in Windows 11. Despite the slight shift in position, the familiar “Pre” icon denoting a preview version remains attached. Users can launch Copilot by clicking on the icon, and the tool also offers helpful options when text blocks are highlighted, making it a convenient and accessible feature for users navigating through Windows.
Looking ahead, Microsoft has a press event scheduled for May 20, where the focus will be on AI advancements, including Copilot. The event is also expected to unveil new consumer versions of the Surface Pro 10 and Surface Laptop 6, both powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite processor. Earlier in March, Microsoft introduced business versions of these devices featuring an Intel Core Ultra chip.
