While anticipation builds for GPT-4, OpenAI quietly releases GPT-3.5

OpenAI’s GPT-3.5 is a new AI that can write like a human. ChatGPT is a general-purpose chatbot that can engage with programming, TV scripts and scientific concepts. The successor to GPT, most likely called GPT 4, is expected to be unveiled in the near future. In the meantime, OpenAI has quietly rolled out a series of AI models based on “GPT 3.5,” a previously-unannounced, improved version of GPT.
