The FIFA World Cup 2022 starts in less than two months, with Qatar being the host. For the second World Cup in a row, the football association is partnering with vivo, which will be the official smartphone partner during the event. The partnership was announced yesterday during the vivo X Fold+ launch, a day that coincided with FIFA’s 118th anniversary. The company will provide ‘industry-leading” flagships to FIFA staff to complete preparations and “boost the successful holding” of the tournament.
