Evo 2022 is set to take place between the 5th and 7th August, in Las Vegas. It will be the first offline Evo since Sony acquired the event in March 2021. Street Fighter V, Mortal Kombat 11, Guilty Gear, Tekken 7 and Guilty Gear Strive will be taking to the main stage. It is the first in-person Evo event since the coronavirus pandemic began. It’s not just about the tournaments, but it’s also the ‘E3 of fighting games’ – the event is a great time and place for publishers to reveal new games or updates on existing projects. We could even see heavily rumoured titles like Tekken 8 and Street Fighter 6 show up in a big way. . . .
