Surface Duo finally receives its Android 11 update from Microsoft

Microsoft finally rolls out an Android 11 update for the first Surface Duo. The update is for the carrier-unlocked Surface Duo in North America and Europe. Microsoft missed its original deadline to update Android 11 before the end of 2021. All of the software features from the Surface Duo 2 are present, including opening OneNote with a button press on the Surface Slim Pen 2, more options for phone calls, an updated app drawer, a new Photos app, and more.
