Labor Department’s monthly jobs report for November showed payrolls grew by 263,000, higher than estimated, while unemployment held at 3.7%. The S&P 500 slipped 0.1%, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average was up by the same margin. All three major averages clawed back from session lows of 1% after sliding on the heels of the release.
