Samsung Unveils One UI 7 with Enhanced AI Features
Samsung has announced the global rollout of One UI 7, its latest Android-based operating system, beginning April 7th. The update, which builds on Android 15, will reach U.S. users starting April 10th, initially targeting Galaxy S24 models, Fold 6, and Flip 6 devices.
The tech giant plans to extend the update to a wider range of devices, including the S23 series, S24 FE, S23 FE, Fold 5, Flip 5, Tab S10, and Tab S9 in the coming weeks.
One UI 7 focuses primarily on AI enhancements, featuring improved integration with Google Gemini. The update establishes Google Gemini as the default assistant, enabling multi-app actions for increased functionality. Users will also benefit from a new natural language search capability within the phone’s Settings app, simplifying navigation.
A notable addition is the Now Bar, which introduces dynamic widgets to the lock screen, offering users quick access to relevant information.
Samsung has also boosted the performance of its proprietary AI tools and introduced a new Audio Eraser feature, allowing users to remove unwanted noise from videos.
The latest iteration of One UI has been pre-installed on the Galaxy S25, S25 Plus, and S25 Ultra since their February launch. Additionally, the operating system is available on the recently announced affordable Galaxy A56, A36, and A26 models.
As Samsung continues to roll out One UI 7, users can expect a more intelligent and streamlined mobile experience across a growing number of devices in the coming months.
