Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 vs Z Flip 7 FE: New Renders Showcase Design Evolution

Samsung’s Upcoming Z Flip 7 and Z Flip 7 FE: New Renders Reveal Design Differences

New renders of Samsung’s upcoming Z Flip 7 and Z Flip 7 FE have been released by renowned leaker OnLeaks, showcasing significant design differences between the two models, particularly in their cover screens.

The Z Flip 7 FE appears to maintain a design similar to its predecessors, the Z Flip 5 and 6, featuring a thick bezel and a stepped bottom edge around the camera lenses. In contrast, the Z Flip 7 boasts an edge-to-edge display that wraps around the cameras, reminiscent of Motorola’s Razr Plus models.

Despite these design variations, the Z Flip 7 FE is expected to retain the 3.4-inch display size from the Z Flip 6. The overall dimensions of both phones are reported to be similar to previous models, with a slight increase in thickness.

Rumors of an FE (Fan Edition) version of the Z Flip have been circulating for some time, with industry insiders suggesting it’s Samsung’s response to competition from Motorola’s Razr line. The Z Flip 7 FE is anticipated to hit the market in 2025.

While official confirmation is yet to be made, tech enthusiasts are eyeing Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event in July as a potential platform for the reveal of these new models. As the foldable smartphone market continues to evolve, these new designs could signify Samsung’s strategy to cater to diverse consumer preferences within the Z Flip line.
