Roblox Unveils x86 Version for Chromebooks, Promising Significant Performance Boost
Roblox, the popular online gaming platform, has announced the release of an x86 version specifically designed for Chromebooks. This new version is set to deliver substantial performance improvements, with the company claiming up to twice the speed on x86 devices.
The enhancements are expected to result in smoother gameplay, faster load times, and an overall enhanced user experience for Chromebook players. Roblox has highlighted impressive frame rate increases in some of its most popular games. *Adopt Me*! one of the platform’s biggest titles, is projected to see a staggering 99 percent increase in frame rates. Similarly, *Brookhaven RP* players can look forward to a 67 percent boost in frame rates.
Load times are also set to improve dramatically, with Roblox stating that players can expect reductions of over 50 percent in both *Adopt Me*! and *Brookhaven RP*. While specific frame rate counts and exact load time reductions were not disclosed, these improvements suggest a significant leap in performance for Chromebook users.
In addition to the performance enhancements, Roblox is offering exclusive content for Chromebook players. A special Chrome jetpack will be available for avatars, allowing users to showcase their Chromebook pride within the Roblox universe.
