Both Windows 10 version 22H2 and Windows 10 version 21H2 users have found themselves ensnared by this irritating glitch.
The bug rears its ugly head when users click on an application icon in the taskbar or Start menu and attempt to right-click to perform a task. Instead of smoothly executing the desired action, they are met with the “Open with” dialogue box. This problem isn’t limited to just a few applications; it can affect any program where the user right-clicks to access a context menu. It’s almost as if the update has a mischievous mind of its own, playing pranks on unsuspecting users.
Interestingly, not all computers seem to be affected by this problem. It appears to be a selective annoyance, sparing some users while tormenting others.
