
Microsoft told Brazilian authorities that PS4 sold twice as many units as Xbox One did. The statement was made in defense of its acquisition of Activision Blizzard. Microsoft also claimed that Sony historically has more of a loyal fan base than Microsoft does. PS4’s lifetime sales are currently at 117.2 million, Xbox One’s at 58.6 million, PS3’s at 87 million and Xbox 360’s 84 million. In other news, dataminers have found references to multiplayer in Spider-Man PC files, and PS Plus Premium users are upset over a lack of classics in the August 2022 lineup. The PS4 Plus lineup will be announced on August 10, 2022, with a new line-up of classic titles coming out in August 2022. . . .
