Microsoft is placing additional limits on the amount of data you can store in OneDrive. Microsoft will begin counting attachments linked to your Outlook.com address against your data cap beginning February 1, 2023. Microsoft encourages you to share a link to the file that you have stored in your OneDrive account. An email alias feature that lets you see email sent specifically to that email can then be removed whenever you like. The alias feature is being turned off in about a year’s time, but it will still work after the cutoff date if you want to create one before then, and it will work after November 30, 20 23. It might be worth creating a few aliases before that, just to try it out and have an option when it goes dark. . . .
