MIT announced five multiyear flagship projects in the first-ever Climate Grand Challenges initiative. The project is one of five flagship projects recently announced by the MIT Climate Grand Challenge initiative. This article is the third in a five-part series highlighting the most promising concepts to emerge from the competition, and the interdisciplinary research teams behind them. The goal of the project is to eliminate reliance on the historical record by emphasizing the laws of thermodynamics and fluid mechanics in next-generation models.
