A Shanghai-based startup called Hypershell has come up with an AI-powered exoskeleton that promises to give its wearer superhuman abilities. The exoskeleton, which is currently being funded through Kickstarter, claims it can reduce the amount of energy needed for activities, such as hiking and running by up to 50%.
The device works by using a combination of sensors and artificial intelligence algorithms to detect when the user needs extra support. It then provides additional power in the form of electric motors located at key points along the body. This helps take some of the strain off muscles while also improving balance and stability during movement.
Hypershell says their technology could revolutionize how people move around outdoors, allowing them to cover more ground with less effort than ever before. They are hoping that once they have reached their funding goal on Kickstarter they will be able to start production on a commercial version in 2021.
In addition, Hypershell believes this technology could be used for medical purposes too – helping those who suffer from physical disabilities or injuries get back out into nature again without having to worry about tiring themselves out quickly or putting too much strain on their bodies. With any luck, this innovative new product will soon help make outdoor adventures easier for everyone!
