Instagram’s Boomerang and Hyperlapse apps are no longer available to download from the iOS App Store and Google Play Store. Last week, Instagram announced that it was getting ready to discontinue the IGTV app as it shifts its main app’s video strategy. These apps have long been integrated into the main Instagram app by now. Instagram’s layout app (used to make photo collages) is still available to purchase from the App Store. We imagine Instagram may eventually phase this standalone app out as well as its IGTV feature as it moves toward the main app’s video-streaming strategy in the future. The Instagram layout app, used to make collages, is also available to buy from the Apple App Store, though this is already built into the app . . .
