I just tried my first 200MP camera phone — and now I’m super excited for the Galaxy S23 Ultra

The Xiaomi 12T Pro is one of a few existing phones on the market using a 200MP camera. Samsung is expected to launch the the Galaxy S23 Ultra early next year, and I’m looking forward to it. I took some sample photos to see what you can do with 200MP shooter. Other advantages of taking 200MP shots are being able to take lower-resolution shots with a smaller file size. Samsung will need to pull some software post-processing trickery if it wants to overcome this issue with the S23 Ultraset’s camera, Tom’s Guide says. The Galaxy S24 is expected next year and is rumored to be the first to have a 200mp camera. The rumors for the S24 Ultra suggest Samsung will opt for a different sensor. . . .
