It can be unnerving to think that someone may be tracking your car with an Apple AirTag. Fortunately, there are a few ways you can tell if your vehicle is being tracked.
First, look for any suspicious items or objects attached to the exterior of your car, such as magnets or small boxes. If you see anything out of the ordinary, it could indicate that someone has placed an AirTag on your vehicle and is using it to track its movements.
Second, check inside the cabin of your car for any strange devices or electronics that don’t belong there; these could also be signs that somebody has planted an AirTag to monitor where you go and when.
Finally, pay attention if you start receiving notifications from the Find My app about a lost item near where you park; this might mean that somebody has attached an Apple Airtag onto something else nearby – like another person’s car – but accidentally left yours behind too! In this case, make sure not to touch the device so as not to get caught up in anyone else’s business!
If at any point during these steps do find evidence indicating possible tracking activity via Apple Airtags then contact local law enforcement immediately and report what happened so they can investigate further into who may have been responsible for placing them on vehicles without permission.
