DJI, the market leader, holds a significant share of both the global and U.S. drone markets. Their products are widely used across various sectors, including emergency response, agriculture, and filmmaking. Despite increasing scrutiny, DJI maintains that its products are affordable and high-performing.
The Chinese drone manufacturer has faced numerous challenges in the U.S. market, including government blacklists and customs issues over alleged human rights violations and military links. DJI vehemently denies these allegations and is currently engaged in legal action to challenge its designation as a military company.
