Bill Gates Funds Flatulent Australian Cows with $12 Million

Bill Gates is investing in an unlikely sector: reducing flatulence from Australian cows. The Microsoft founder’s Breakthrough Energy Ventures fund has just announced a $12 million investment into feed that will help reduce the amount of methane released by cattle burps and farts.

This move is part of Gates’ larger mission to combat climate change, as livestock are responsible for 14.5 percent of global greenhouse gas emissions due to their digestive process releasing large amounts of methane into the atmosphere.

By investing in this type of feed, it could drastically lower those numbers and have a positive effect on our planet’s health overall.

The new feed was developed by Australia-based start-up CSIRO Livestock Industries which focuses on improving animal nutrition through sustainable agriculture practices like using natural ingredients instead of antibiotics or hormones when creating food for animals such as cows, sheep, pigs and chickens.

This innovative solution not only helps reduce harmful emissions but also improves animal welfare with healthier diets tailored specifically to each species’ needs while still providing farmers with quality produce at competitive prices – something we can all get behind!
