Apple Vision Pro’s AI-Powered ‘Create Memory Movie’ Revolutionizes Mixed Reality Content

Apple Unveils AI-Powered ‘Create Memory Movie’ for Vision Pro

Apple is set to introduce an innovative feature called Create Memory Movie, exclusively for its Vision Pro headset. This new addition, powered by Apple Intelligence, aims to revolutionize how users interact with their memories.

Create Memory Movie allows users to input a description or voice prompt, triggering Apple Intelligence to select a matching photo or video from the user’s library. The chosen “memory movie” can then be displayed on a large virtual screen or within a virtual environment, offering an immersive viewing experience.

The Vision Pro’s AI capabilities extend beyond memory creation. Apple is integrating writing tools with ChatGPT, enabling users to dictate memos, create summaries, and edit drafts using artificial intelligence. Smart replies will also be available, allowing for quick, automatic message responses with a simple tap.

Creative features like Genmoji and Image Playground will offer prompt-based image generation, while Image Wand will transform rough sketches into polished images. The Photos app will also benefit from natural language search integration.

These AI-powered features are part of the upcoming visionOS 2.4 update, currently in developer beta and scheduled for public release in April. Initially, Apple Intelligence will support US English, with plans to expand language options and features in future updates.

The visionOS 2.4 update also includes an improved Guest Mode and introduces two discovery apps: one for the iPhone and another as an Apple-curated content guide within the headset.

As Apple continues to push the boundaries of mixed reality technology, the Vision Pro’s new AI-driven features promise to deliver a more personalized and intuitive user experience.
