
Apple has unveiled its new M1 Ultra chip, a chip that takes the power of an M1 Max chip, and then added another M1 chip for good measure. The chip is 90% faster than Intel’s Core i9-12900K and uses 100W less power than the Corei 9-9K. Apple’s new chip is so powerful that it’s hard to comprehend just how much performance Apple is getting out of its M1 line of chips. The new chip allows Apple to blow away its Mac Pro by 60% faster in comparison to a 16-core 16-Core chip. The Mac Studio comes in at 90% more faster than a 28-core Xeon Mac Pro, and the Mac Pro is 60% more powerful. . . .
