
As of early 2022, about 300 institutions and corporations were participating in the RISC-V community. 2021 was the year for RISCV, with over 2 billion cores deployed by the end of the year according to RISC.-V International. As the quantity of data flowing into the network multiplies, so does the need to filter it and analyze it locally rather than shipping it all off to a central location.
